Small Business Development Center

The SBDC serves the needs of aspiring and established entrepreneurs in eastern Kentucky. The SBDC was established to provide one-to-one counseling services, continuing education programs, and management and technical assistance for prospective, as well as, established business owners. The SBDC also sponsors special projects and conducts research in areas of importance to small businesses throughout its service area. The MoSU main campus office and the two sub-center offices in Pikeville and Ashland offer the following counseling and training services: needs assessment; comprehensive business planning; market research; financial statement analysis and control; cash flow analysis and financial projections; management issues unique to small businesses; and technology transfer.
