Youth Build for a chance at new start
Clustered together on one side of a nearly completed basement, tools in hand, gloves to keep warm, a group of young people force a wall up to its final resting place. After hitting the structure a few times over with a hammer, they step back to see if it is even. The group is working on a four-bedroom home for a family with five children. An outsider looking in might not guess these youths all are high school drop-outs, a few of them former drug addicts, and many without homes or families.
