The community goals of the Community Organizing and Planning projects are summarized as follows:
- To create a continued planning program to anticipate and address the needs of the Morehead/Rowan County community.
- To recongize Morehead and Rowan County's significant historical and cultural heritage and encourage the re-use and enhancement of historic buildings and sites.
