Increase your marketability and open doors

The knowledge and experience you gain as an IRAPP student serve to further enhance your undergraduate degree and make you more desirable in the job market.  Your degree will be awarded with a Regional Analysis core; for example, a Bachelor of Arts in Geography with an Emphasis in Regional Analysis (click here to see the list of undergraduate programs).  As an IRAPP graduate, you will be completely qualified to pursue jobs within your major of choice; however, the additional skills you gain will allow you to pursue a wider range of jobs at potentially higher starting salaries.

An IRAPP degree will also give you an advantage if you plan to attend graduate school.  Our interdisciplinary approach, as well as access to state-of-the-art computer, laboratory, and field technology and equipment,  provides our students with the hands-on experience and broad educational foundation needed to excel in a graduate program.  Many of our graduates have gone on to pursue advanced degrees at some of the most prestigious universities in the country.
