William Salazar
Research Associate for the Institute of Regional Analysis and Public Policy
William Salazar is the Research Associate for the Institute of Regional Analysis and Public Policy, (IRAPP). Currently working on a second master’s in English, William’s focus is on technical writing and second language acquisition. A graduate of Northern Arizona University, he serves on the board of Morehead area Habitat for Humanity. He has presented several papers at state and national conferences on the areas of ethnicity, cultural diversity as they relate to issue in education, mentoring and retention issues most he has presented at the National Hispanic Association for Hispanic Studies.
He has conducted various workshops on cultural issues to social workers and educators as they relate to adaptability, assimilation and interpersonal interaction. At IRAPP, William will work on the areas of housing, poverty, the humanities and International collaborations.
